Is pizza healthy?

I have not had pizzas or kebabs for six months and I have been able to lose weight … I am close to my ideal weight … I do exercise a lot too …

It’s a well balanced meal. Protein carbs and fruit.

Tomato sauce is made from tomatoes, and tomatoes are a fruit, so pizza is healthy.

The typical pizza: White flour, cheese and red meat? I can think of healthier things. :smirk: But then again, I never was a healthy eater anyway.

Too much of anything is bad for you.
One of the reason I moved here.
So I could not have pizza deliver.
To my door.
Every night.
Or any night.

Vegetarian pizza is reasonably healthy if eaten in moderation.

Extra cheesy pizzas are not healthy.

Pizza is good for you, wish I had one at the moment, but that would mean going shopping on my day off :sob:

A study a while ago said fish and chips are healthy. Pizza in moderation could be okay.

Anything in moderation is ok I guess.

A dietician once told me that one pizza = four plates of food. She never said it is unhealthy.

I love pizza and in moderation it really is not unhealthy.
It contains a veggie (fruit) protein - dairy carbs.

My favourite Dominos Pizza has 2500 calories. That’s your entire days calories in one meal.
