Is our paranoia trust worthy like intuition?

Do you ever believe our paranoia is intuitive instead of a symptom? I get very worried about certain people sometimes for no good reason at all. Would you trust this as factual even when your without any? For example I’m paranoia my uncle is mad because I live with my dad, even though there isn’t any real evidence other than my imagination and just theorizing based off the fact I know he dislikes me, what do you think? Would you work on hurrying up and moving out even thought there isn’t any thing than paranoia to base that off of?

at some normal levels its a reasonable thing that can be akin to your mind being aware of danger, at a mentally ill person this can just be pretty messy.

Yeah obviously our mind feels at danger and is warning us of a threat, but whether or not there really is one or not is up for debate, wonder why our subconscious mind would perceive certain things as a threat

Not in my case, my paranoia tends to be ridiculous even though it’s scary at the time.

Intuition isnt always trustworthy either due to biases and previous experiences it builds off.

No. Paranoia is based off delusion. I think there’s something to be said about how these delusions are affected by previous trauma and insecurities though.

No. Trusting paranoia will usually take you all the wrong places. Especially people with mental illness, because we are prone to delusional thinking.

No. It’s just a symptom.

A Little bit of paranoia is good. It’s part of our defence mechanism. Trouble is, ours go too far. It’s about balancing it out with a bit of logical thinking on your part.

I know it still drives you bloody crazy tho.
