i was depressed for 3 years before i got schizoaffective disorder

I’ve heard that, in general, the prognosis for people with schizoaffective disorder is better than that for people with schizophrenia. I doubt it being preceded by years of depression would make a difference, but I can’t say for sure either way.

@anon84898315, @freakonaleash, The prognosis for people with sza is better than for sz but, not much better. The prognosis for people with bipolar is much better than for people with sza or sz.
