I think it’s more like an inevitability. Sooner or later, life bursts into song. The only problem with sz is that it seems to always be later.
I don’t know what I would do without music…music is a big part of my day.
I’m not really into music. Never have been. I rarely listen to music.
Music is everything for me! I honestly don’t know what I would do without it!
I need to listen to music. Especially when there are annoying noises outside.
@LED,@jukebox,@Longhorn21, opposite ends of a pole. Very interesting. I’ve heard this before. People either love music or it just does nothing for them.
I’d like to learn to use the piano/keyboard sometime.
I love my music but I haven’t listened to it in a month now. I can go without it if I need to. I’m not that into music really lol
Before psychosis, it was everything to me. After, it does nothing for me. Don’t know what happened.
I need music. Definitely a necessity!
My friend told me a quote from Nietzsche; “Without music, life would be a mistake”. I’m old and cold enough not to take notice of too much new music but when something captures my attention I am so happy for weeks.
What kind of music captured your attention? As a musician, I know that some pieces we had to play were boring.
Last things I discovered were “Sunless” song cycle by Mussorgsky, and also I am getting into Brahms 4th symphony after a few years of trying. Pop music - not so new - The Weeknd Starboy and The Hills. How about you - what was the last piece of music that made your hairs stand up?
I’m a big fan of Baroque. Pop - the Beatles, the Mamas and the Papas, Elvis
I love those. I wish I could play Bach on the piano but I am not good enough.
For me at least music is essential. I don’t think I would be able to live if there were no such thing as music.
Bach is very difficult on the piano. I know.
Music has been around a long time. In my opinion, it is here to stay.
For me, music will always be important. But I won’t lie, I just don’t seem to listen as much anymore. I kinda overdid it for a few years when I would play my stereo almost all day and night to try and drown out my voices.
It’s got it’s own kind of knockout.
