Is it realistic?

Is it realistic trying to put on a positive facade with such a debilitating illness?
Do you put on a shiny happy face all the time?

  • Feel bad but put on a happy positive act
  • Feel mostly recovered so feel good mostly
  • Feel bad sometimes, no facade just honest about feelings

How does this work out for you?

I should win an Oscar for this much acting I have to do.

I still hallucinate, but I’m a happy person. Frankly, some of my hallucinations are downright entertaining. I know they’re hallucinations, though, and my life is good.

I do often put on a positive face. Because I believe in ‘fake’ it til u make it.

I not saying I’m desperately depressed but I’m not entirely over the moon

Being ingenuine is called emotional labor. It’s one of the reasons why a lot of healthcare staff burn out.

I would opt to just be genuine and save yourself the effort to fake it.
