Somewhere out there is a sick seven year old kid who won’t be an eight year old.

Attitude of gratitude.

I’m sorry you’re suffering…find hope in small things. hope builds happiness.

I remember a time in my life where I was being haunted by demons, my best friend had committed suicide, and I couldn’t find a friend anywhere. I asked my Mamacita if everything was going to be okay, and she said “Yes. Everything’s going to be okay.”

Sometimes in time of strife that’s all you need to hear.

Fred Rogers always said that in times of crisis look for the helpers. There will always be strong souls who stand up for a good cause.

If it’s a bad thing in my life I want to improve, I always think to myself “turn a negative into a positive”, and that always helps

Part of the suffering is self-inflicted by refusing to see things in a more positive light.

It’s also easier to suffer much more when you give up on trying to be positive. You’re still being positive, but it’s a positive feedback loop now.

Thats the one thing i don’t like about CBT. When you are deeply depressed and then told to “look at the bright” side is the wrong way to adress such a suffering. You need sympathy and understanding in such a situation.

Hope you feel better and more positive soon.
