Are delusions just bad connections? Is it creativity gone wild?
There was a time when I used to make good connections. Then there were good and bad connections at the same time. Then there were just bad connections.
Evolutionary psychology cannot explain why severe illnesses like schizophrenia get wiped out. Is it just a spectrum where on the one hand there are good connections and on the other hand there are bad connections, and then everything in between.
The problem is that our delusions are connected heavily with our emotions. While psychotic, i turned to be over zealous based on religion. And i actually felt and though I am one of the christ apostles. And that is just a delusion. I agree partially with you, i turn out to be really creative with my memes at the beginning of delusions and mania that gets thousand of likes, but then as my delusions and psychosis progresses, i tend to create crappy content that I am the one able to grasp its meaning
