It’s been doing wonders for me, I highly recommend!
CBT never worked for me, but I have SzA. I find DBT is working much better for me.

Opinion is divided over CBT for psychosis. A big critic is Keith Laws.
As with all these things there will be some people who will be helped regardless of how few people are helped overall.
You may buck the trend and be one of those helped by CBT.
CBT is working for me. I had many negative thoughts and was very shy and quiet. Now things are getting better with CBT.
MBCT is also good, if you can meditate that is.
I also did schema therapy to get rid of some negative life patterns.
CBT didn’t help me, but it has been doing wonders for my brother. It all depends on the person. I like neurofeedback.
I did a whole project on this CBT is proven to be one of the most effective therapies for anybody. However, keep in mind it was designed to treat anxiety and depression, not psychosis. There is a specialized subtype of CBT called CBTp (CBT for psychosis) that is supposed to be especially effective for those with psychotic disorders, but unfortunately not many therapists are trained in it.
