I remember where most of my life I was living single and I get envious of people who are in a relationship.Now I am in a relationship and I got other reasons not to be happy,it sucks.I got my sexual needs settled but I am still not happy.I felt more in control when I didn’t take antipsychotic,probably placebo

When i was with my ex the 15 yrs we shared together were good, she was a constant source of strength to me and it was a very good symbiotic relationship, the last 4 yrs has been hard without her, i dated someone else off and on but it didnt work out, I kind of need someone to be complete, Lockdown has been lonely as hell on my own.

Well I dont miss being single, but it was nice when I really wanted to be single if that makes sense.

I had a gf for a couple of years before my sz and we were about to have kids. Now I prefer being single bcz of my sz. Sz will just be worse with the stress of a partner financially and mentally.
Anyways I can’t work and I can’t take care of a house and all hot girls I spoke with through online dating blocked me when they knew I don’t work.

I know very rich and successful ppl who don’t want a relationship and who never had a relatioship in their life. One worked for Microsoft and now is a programmer for the government of France, 500 000+€ yearly. My 2 aunts are old and don’t want to have a relationship, they refused many mens who offered themeselves.
Life is so scary and stressful.I wanted to get married and got them,I never do anything bad to my wife but am afraid I might lose her because of shouting anger and all sort.I still believe being with another person is better then staying single
i havent been in a relationship so can i give a good answer, probably not…is single nice…well im asexual so i wouldnt have any interest in sexual matters…id much rather have a friend who i was close to, chat about things in common like soccer…i think single is better for me as i have too many stressors in my life

Being single is a personal choice.
Each has its advantage, single or in a relationship.
Being single gives you more free time for having fun with your friends and yourself, you stay young mentally and don’t have family responsabilities.
Being in a relationship gives you better sex and gives you the opportunity to have kids and feel more grown up.
I was both single and in a relationship.
When I had a gf my friends told me I am giving more time to my gf than them but at the same time I wanted kids.
Anyways now I don’t have friends and I don’t have a gf bcz of sz.

@Gtx1990 I can tell you that being single is horrible. There is the loneliness and isolation of not being able to share with the opposite sex. If I had the choice, I would prefer to be married and have children rather than be single, alone and die by myself.

Being single has benefits but so does being in a relationship. I can do more things I want to do by being single compared to how my ex-wife and I did things but there isn’t much I really want to do anymore.
You aren’t held down as much when single which gives flexibility.

Single is nice when you want to be single or feel the need to be single, yea. Plenty of space.
I’m single and happy. I don’t think I’d be happy in a relationship. I’ve tried.
