Is anyone else mid range functioning

I can’t work but I live on my own and walk to the store, go to group therapy, read books.

Yeah, im like that too. I am studying, I volunteer and I workout. It every time I go to work my voices get really loud, with more voices and constant.

i would say im not sure as i work (i dont have to leave home to work) but i dont go many places on my own, but im not going to limit myself to a level of functioning, things i may think i cant do, are just things i have yet to do, and i plan to break barrier after barrier until i get to the point where i can do anything any other person can do

I went from low functioning to high functioning in a week because I didn’t have any other choice.

that is how it goes imo, i got denied ssi repeatedly, and once i got repetitively told to get the job ive been working for almost 2 years and had to do training, i realized i might not be as low functioning. most people once they get a debilitating diagnosis and get on disability there is no feel of needing to strive to do what healthy people do. and to make it worse as soon steps are taken, so are the benefits

I find questions like this difficult to answer. That’s because it’s not easy to tell what’s autism related, and what’s schizophrenia/schizoaffective related. What I will say is that the internet plays to my strengths, in a way that being offline doesn’t.

I think the amount of money the government gives me is a pretty accurate reflection of the amount of help I need. It’s not enough to live on but it is enough to take a huge chunk out of my necessities. It’s still definitely a struggle though. I take a lot of L’s throughout the day because of this illness.
