Is anybody here able to get life insurance despite their condition?

I would like my life to have some value if I were to have unfortunate accident.

I’ve tried but was denied. They ask all kinds questions about your health. I was only unhealthy with mental illness. I still got denied.

I was told the SZ would not prevent me from getting life insurance because of my stability, but my heart condition does. The actuarial tables say I should have died some time ago.

So theoretically you’re living on borrow time.

Personally, I just save my money as much as I can. I see no difference between giving money to life insurance companies for years and years and saving it on my own, unless, of course there was some drastic turn of events early on. I mean, the life insurance companies must be making money or they wouldnt stay in business.

As to your question, I regularly see advertisements for life insurance on TV where they say there are no medical questions attached. I dont know much about quality or details, but they do exist.

Yes - they never asked about it. I have colonial life. Same company I have disability insurance through.

Wait so you can have disability insurance even if you already have disability?

Probably should have called it accident insurance, in case I get injured or sick.

Aren’t you sick already?

That’s a good point.

More like COVID that lasts a week or longer, or other bodily illnesses, organ failure, that kind of thing.
