Is abilify making me worse or am I just not doing well?

I thought I was getting sick so I went to my PCP,

He said its probably the abilify.

I put in a call to my pdoc, but he’s not going to be in a hurry to return that call.

I feel so weighed down and tired,

And I’ve been seeing people looking in my house.

I haven’t struggled with negative symptoms in years, but today, everything was a chore,

Also I’ve been wanting to get high all day, not weed high, real high,

Which also doesn’t happen that often.

Maybe I’m just freaking out because I didn’t want to take the medicine in the first place,

This is absolutely shitty.

Sorry to hear that. I haven’t had any problems with Abilify. I’m on 5mg.

How many mgs do you take a day?
It’s going to take a couple of months till you get used to everything.
Yeah make sure that you talk to your pdoc if your positive symptoms are getting worse.
Don’t let that go.

Abilify can sometimes trigger or aggravate psychosis.

The super tired feeling happens with any new AP. It usually goes away after 6-8 weeks. If you think it’s making your positive symptoms worse, though, keep calling your doctor until you get a response.

I can’t really tell if they’re worse,

Just different.
