Invega Sustenna and Risperidal consta shots are deadly and poison

Still not better.

Tommorow will be day 17…

guess ill wait for 3 weeks and if I see no difference I will consult a doctor.

There are dozens of medications that might be able to help you - how many did you try before?

I’m just saying that giving up too soon is recipe for bad results…

Something to keep in mind:

Here is a good image that clearly shows the importance of persistence and effort at trying new things:

again,

we are coming back to square one.

There is no evidence of medication helping “Cure” psychiatric illness…at the very most they help you make “Livable” by cutting out your thoughts and emotions with disastrous side effects.

Please if you have any empirical evidence of medications improving someone’s lives then do point it out. Do not be a pay-pusher for the money hungry psychiatric industry.

Thanks.

They don’t call it a cure they call it a treatment. Some of that money goes towards the people trying to understand the disease on a neurocognitive level.

I agree meds are way expensive, but dude their not evil. It’s not a conspiracy. In the future things will be different.

Some people can cope without meds, if that’s you good for you. Some people can’t cope without meds they become the most important thing in their life, what gives them life.

Whatever the lesser of two evils is for you that’s your call, but you should respect people’s need for meds. They helped me through the worst time, I wish they were more effective. But they really do wonders for some people.

And unfortunately the occasional person has a complete adverse reaction and some become permanently more psychotic because of meds.

It’s pretty ■■■■■■, but it does work some of the time.

Yeah mental illness just sucks in general were practically in the dark ages when it comes to treating it. Gotta have industry if you want the Capitol to fund research for the next step forward in treatment options.

OK Now I have been officially warned in my office that both my behaviour and performance has gone terribly bad and If I do not improve quickly and soon I would be fired.

I called up my mom after 20 days and she started the usual negativity about me and especially my wife and started the same emotional abuse.

I told her please stop now and just let me know whether this particular thing(injection) has happened or not. She said NO. And now I kind of believe her and slowly but surely the delusion is starting to come off.

Hi Saurav,

Many people in our forums here are working full time - and most of them find that medications (as low a dose as possible, that still keeps their positive symptoms / delusions, etc. in check) are helpful in that quest.

We hope you’ll try some - and keep your job.

But please read this:

I’m sorry that your mom is being negative. Sometimes I get negative with my son… Not always the best way to act or respond but sometimes it happens because I care. Perhaps I’m reading something that isn’t there however some of what you have said about your mom makes me believe that she is trying to help the only way that she knows how. Unfortunately it has caused you to belief that she injected you however I see a mom trying to give physical comfort and support.

As for disclosing to your employer about your diagnoses. I can only speak to my own experience. I was always open with my past employer about my son’s schizophrenia as well as my own health and personal issues and I always received nothing but support and understanding.

If you are already close to losing your job then personally I don’t see where telling them would be a bad thing. What’s the worst that could happen? They fire you? Well that may happen anyways. However there is a slight chance that they would be willing to work with you and give you time to work some things out.

In the USA you can tell them and ask for accommodations, then if they fire you there could be discrimination.
But good luck proving that. If people want you gone, they will find some other reason to get rid of you. Best to just tell them you’ll leave quietly, and ask for a good referral in return.

thi is so sad, word cannot express what rage I feel towards the pharmaceuticals they did the same thing to my son who now suffers from severe tardive dyskinesia he body aches and is always moving so badly that everything he has in his hands spills, drops it’s a night mare wouldn’t wish it on anyone
take care and God bless you

That’s terrible. I hate motor disfunction.

When I was first in the hospital they told me I had multiple substance abuse and Parkinson’s. I’ve always had shakes. They are in the Parkinson’s range though.

Sometimes the docs just want to get their job done as quickly as possible. Really looking back the experience with the date hospital was rather frightening, I got sent there immediately after my voices tricked me into attempting suicide. It was like a low security prison compound, which didn’t help me with delusions of persecution. They put me on haldol, one of the oldest cheapest most side effect ridden drugs on the market, within two weeks I couldn’t even sleep the internal comfort was so bad. I was quick to get on a different med, that might have helped you in your sons case. APs can be pretty terrible if you don’t have steady check ups and a doc who knows what side effects to look for.

That was all kind of besides the point, maybe there is a med out there to combat this side effect.

Again I’m sorry it’s terrible to hear.

Meds suck, but not as bad as the disease left unchecked.

Hope this clears up for him.

On one hand I have Meds…On the other hand I could have.untreated paranoid schizophrenia…
I realize meds are far from perfect but for ME they are the lesser of two evils.
Not to trivialize people who suffer bad side-effects but I can’t fathom how people can say meds never help anybody. On this site alone we could get a couple dozen testimonials of people who’s lives have improved because they took meds. Meds that help control schizophrenia symptoms were discovered in the fifties. No matter how smart, dumb, greedy, powerful or uncaring big pharmaceuticals are, if meds were killing us or poisoning us for the last 60 years then the meds would not have survived as long as they have. They would have gone the way of lobotomies and insulin shocking. 60 years is an entire generation. Again, my condolences to people who have gotten TD and the author of this thread.

Saurav, your not helping anyone.

What’s your deal?

fine im sorry.

I quit.

maybe someone could read this

not to say my life hasnt been affected by the drugs.

First of all, it’s not really appropriate to get personal or call someone names because they have a different opinion than you. I believe in what I said as much as you believe in what you say. I don’t think either of us has the definitive answer on the matter of medication.

I don’t know. Like I said, a whole generation has been taking meds already. I don’t see people dropping like flies.
And I thought the forum guidelines prohibit people from giving advice to people like telling people to GO OFF THEIR MEDS.
P.S. you call me stupid in one sentence and in the very next sentence you use a slang, stigmatizing, ignorant term like “■■■■■■”.

Firstly I am sorry…I shouldnt have called you those words and I apologize.

Let me tell you my perspective.

An abusive and torturing family whose only goal in life was my destruction (not sure why they gave me birth probably they needed someone to bring all their own frustration to) - Actually my mom told me this yesterday - it slipped out of her mouth…they needed someone to target and it was ME an innocent being brought by so called parents, an almost broken marriage and a job where I could be fired next week.

All this has happened to me…But I am still holding on…Many times I think of suicide and have attempted to do so too but I do not go tell this to the nearest pysch cause I know what he would do…give me pills !!..the key is to be strong and brave in this ■■■■■■ up world…Not to become weak.

Thanks to this forum and I have like 6-7 people(my school college mates and few of my office collegues) whom I daily converse with and tell them my troubles…they listen to me for hours without interrupting and guide me what to do.

I also speak to one of my cousins and he too listens to me.

The key is to be strong and seek help by talking to people around.

I think your headed in the right direction now saurav. If you don’t want meds that is your choice. You can fight this on a psychological level. From here though you should try to learn all you can about the chemical nature of the brain and what you have to do to keep it optimized. Diet and sleep patterns is what I’m talking about as well as avoiding drugs and alcohol.

Good luck man, if you don’t want a psychiatrist you can always find a psychologist.

The board will be here if you ever have anything you need to discuss.

Thanks Bryan I will be careful .

I understand I am risking lives by my advices.

Just to add…I have heard meditation does help.

Especially this one:- http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Vipassana

I guess most would have heard of this guy. He was born in my country but noone respect him. He apparently found that life essentially was suffering and his philosophy is all about solving that problem and includes Meditation as one of the methods.

OK, thanks. You’ve got a lot on your plate. I happen to be pro medication and you are against them. No problem. We will each do what is best for ourselves.

I hope you feel better OP. If what your saying is true, then it must be a very rare side-effect. Personally, I benefit from the medications, despite the side effects like man boobs. I hope you get better.
