Interesting sayings/slang from your region

Not really sure that it’s from my region. More of something that I say but I tend to say “He’s not the sharpest bulb of the bunch.” or “They’re not the brightest tool in the shed.” I just think it’s fun to mix them.

She / he is my favourite mistake

“Describing crayons” is slang for when you think you know a lot about something, but then you try talking about it with an actual expert and realize that your grasp of the topic is so rudimentary that you sound like a kindergartner describing which crayons are your favorite.

My dad used to say “didn’t know if s/he was Arthur or Martha” which I guess he meant someone was a little confused.
