Whole numbers both positive and negative go on infinitly. So on both sides of zero go on forever easy enough. But then fractional numbers also go on forever. So every whole number contains an infinite number of fractional numbers on the right side of its decimal. So the difference between 1 and 2 is an infinite amount. So every whole number is an infinite distance of infinities from any other whole number. Wtf if every tangible number has an intangible difference from any other tangible number do they actualy exist together or are they seperate concepts we have over simplified and group together?
Yes but 1+1 is two…
Scales are relative by unit of measure…
.1 may as well be 1… If you want it to be…
It might be infinite but it is identifiable… As 2 - 1 = 1… 3-2=1 all the same…
What is odd though… Is it appears the universe is not infinitely large… Nor infinitely old…
A thought for you… If there was an infinitely large universe that was infinitely old… Then a star at some distance would inhabit every spec in the sky… Its light would already be here since its had infinite time to reach us…
Now that is just a tangent… And stars do blow up…
But it would appear things are finite…
Even infinity… What is larger than infinity? Infinity + 1…
And there are minimal measures in physics… The planck units…
They don’t really work with the number line… But there is a calculable minimum amount of charge, distance, time, heat energy, and one other thing I can’t recall…
Point theory says two points define a line, and between every two points is another point. When a line goes through a circle they intersect at two points. But when a line runs into a circle at only one point, it is called a tangent.
And schizophrenics are fond of going off on tangents. The conversation is only connected at one little point!
