Infection in my ankle, update

Well I saw my Dr today and it’s STILL infected and they cut into my ankle a little more (I haven’t seen it though, it’s covered by a bandaid) they also are giving me a stronger antibiotic! I am taking 3 capsules 3 times a day for 7 days, and I see the doctor again in two weeks

My Mom got an infection in her finger and they lanced it she said it was really painful

@HollyHobbie @Rainstorm the doctor wants me to leave the bandaid off at night but I’m kinda scared to take it off at all

That’s scary. Definitely do what the dr says and let it get fresh air at night. That’ll help it heal

@LilyoftheValley @Rainstorm @HollyHobbie well I got some dry skin off the area today and the under skin looks really healthy and it’s not hurting to bad ATM, just little twinges here and there, the swelling isn’t to bad ATM, and I haven’t gotten to much out of it today

What’s even scarier is the doctor put me on high dose of antibiotics I take 3 of them 3 times a day… They taste awful and it stuck in your mouth all flippen days

Are you able to take a probiotic while you’re on the antibiotics? They can really help manage the stomach side effects. Walgreens sells a gummy version that Mr. Star loved when he had a shoulder infection.
