My mom bust the bubble on my surgical site and now junk is almost pouring out… I have a doctor’s appointment at 1pm today…

@FreeLunch my mom is in the medical field and she’s worried the infection has gone to the bone… She says if it’s done that there’s probably very little way of saving the foot… It’s scary when SHE starts talking that way

@Zoe the fact I’ve been on HEAVY antibiotics and it’s still got stuff in it and I’m in quite a bit of pain and I have a relatively high pain tolerance, the color of the stuff, and it just DOESN’T seem to be getting better

@FreeLunch it’s been my number 1 fear since I got the surgery… I couldn’t just leave myself in that much pain where I was already losing use of it

@FreeLunch @Zoe so another doctor in same clinic did some stuff… it hurt, I can’t put weight on my foot… No antibiotics this time though… He said the infection is in the scar tissue so very isolated… He thinks it’ll be fine just draining it… He put what he called a wick in it to help drain

@Wave first one couldn’t get anything out so another doctor took a look at it as a second opinion and they got a lot out according to them… It freaking hurts

@Twialine Have the doctors checked whether the bacteria are one of the partially antibiotic-resistant types such as MRSA?
