Increasing omega-3 intake unlikely to prevent depression or anxiety

Omega 3 not much useful. It can actually increase depression if have mental conditions like bipolar. Also it seem to increase blood sugar if taken excessively and thus can affect sleep too.

I’ve read the concerns about it, I still stand by it. I feel so much better since I started taking it. I may at some point switch to a vegetarian form but for now I’m taking fish oil and I like it. My mind is so much clearer and I wouldn’t be surprised if it was helping my depression too because this is the first winter I’ve had the fish oil in my system and it’s the first winter I haven’t had terrible depression. I was still depressed a little, but not as much. Of course there were other changes too, so I don’t think the fish oil explains everything, but I think it’s possible it helped. Anyway I’m impressed enough that I will always supplement with some form of omega 3 forever and I will always recommend it to others in whatever form they’re comfortable taking.

If you are looking for a supplement to manage depression, low mood etc then dmg is the best one to try. It have a bunch of useful benefits too like increased energy, less day time fatigue, reduces anxiety, cognitive benefits and much more. Its similar to sacrosine without the side effects.
