What meds do you take? Maybe it has to do with one of your meds? Do you drink caffeine late in the day or evening? If I drink coffee before bed I will sometimes have nightmares.

I am unmedicated forgot to mention that.

No I don’t drink caffeine often anymore

If you don’t want to take an ap for this, there is a medicine that doctors give to ptsd sufferers for nightmares. It is like a blood pressure type medicine. Prazosin. I am not recommending anything here, but some people say it helps their nightmares. I haven’t took it, so I don’t know. Is there a reason you don’t take meds? Maybe the nightmares is a sign you might need something? I would talk to your doctor about this. Maybe they might have an idea on what would be helpful?

I take prazosin for bad dreams and it works like a miracle. I used to get woken up every night and I was extremely emotionally effected. Now I hardly ever even remember a dream. I highly recommend it.
