In my book, it's winter already

it could be worse, 3 months isn’t that long but boy do I wish I lived in Georgia or south Carolina right now. I don’t care when they say winter starts officially, in my book it’s December January and February. we had a cold November according to dad so we got a jump on winter some.

all I have to do this winter is stay inside, get fat, and watch basketball.

Here in SC it was nice and mild yesterday. I rode in the car with the window down. We’ve had some awfully cold days this year though. It seems to be up and down with the weather. Nowhere near as cold as you probably have it though.

as long as it’s in the 30’s im ok. that’s not to cold with a jacket and gloves on, I could even work outside in it if I had too. our last 3 winters have been kind of mild with a lot of 30 and 40 degree days. the farmer’s almanac is predicting a big winter for us but I predict otherwise. another mild winter.

yesterday was unusually warm, 60 degrees in the afternoon. back in the 30’s today.

looking on the bright side, there are no bugs during winter. so I can go out on the porch and not walk through a spider web.

Yeah, we get wasps during the warm weather. They all want to build their nests on the porch. Sometimes they seem aggressive and chase me back in the house. Don’t have to deal with it in cold weather. But, then, i don’t sit on the porch as much either.

yeah I guess the only time I would go outside is to have a smoke…but I haven’t smoked since thanksgiving. my parents did away with my driving priveleges because I kept buying cigarettes. 34 years old and can’t do nothing, can’t smoke, can’t drink, can’t drink coffee all day, and my mom wont even let me have diet coke…she says “it’s as bad as cigarettes”
