We seem to be in a deep freeze here for the past month and it snows everyday. Definitely my least favorite time of the year.

What I hate the most is ice storms, and having to deal with the cold. I used to love the cold but now it seems to be a potentially deadly thing hanging over the thought of going somewhere when the transportation I deal with prefers I wait for them outside as I get older and less resilient. The potential of ice provides the potential nightmare of having the power out and the fridge food rot, and all the things I’m so dependent on not working.
Am very lucky here the worse. We had is wind and rain. Gets cold but not hazardous

I don’t mind the chill but hate the snowy weather. I took a walk in the park in this snowy weather today. The paths were very slipery so walk was an effort. My legs and feet hurt so much afterwards. Actually I was exhausted. Then this afternoon I started to have iflammations in my forehead, eyes and nose, just because I overused my energy by walking in the snowy weather.
Have I made myself logical?

I don’t mind winter so much, but lately our temperatures where I live at in the U.S. have been ridiculously low.
Edit to add: I’ve noticed I read more in the winter.

Yes I want winter over, it’s way too cold to get out. Cabin fever.
It doesn’t even feel like winter here yet. I’m the next 2-4 weeks we should be hitting the real winter weather. Then I’ll be sick of it.
I’m dealing with it okay but I’m so ready for spring in all honesty.
I live at 6000 ft., and we usually have snow at this time of year but we’re still waiting this year. I’m missing the snow. It’s been very mild so far.
I’m hoping for a late winter.
I’m in the UK, so sick of the grey, cold wet weather. We did have some snow and that was cool, but mostly it’s just wet and grey.
seriously thinking about going south and renting for a couple months next winter. I hate being stuck inside. any suggestions? Georgia, Texas Arizona? where should I go?
Nope! Totally enjoying the winter here. It’s snowed several times this winter so far, but nothing bad- only an inch here and there. It’s been staying in the teens and getting down to the single digits at night. I just ordered a new coat, and I want it to stay colder longer so I get a chance to wear it. I got a great deal on it! (I can’t fit into my old coat anymore…) The only bad thing is that my husband is at a facility that requires staff 24/7/365, so he has to go in no matter how bad the weather is. I don’t like that one bit. Otherwise, winter is great! It’s a nice change from my Texas childhood.
No patience for snowy or freezing cold weather anymore.
