Well, I don’t know if this is any consolation, but the virus is spreading elsewhere now. Someone here in British Columbia got it from Iran.
Iran and Italy’s case count exploded in a few days.
It’s going pandemic, you don’t have to worry about being discriminated against specifically. Everyone’s going to be afraid of going out entirely in a few months.

I don’t hate you, nor afraid of virus. I simpatize with you. My country was always paying price for someone’s individual ill behavior so I understand what hate towards one nation is…
My cousin from Italy said that larger cities like Milan are getting bad.
I think he mentioned quarantine.
It’s just a matter of time before it becomes a pandemic.
I won’t be going out in public soon.
I’ll just skip my doctors appointments.
Hopefully my psychiatrist will allow phone sessions.

I think the hate against Chinese people is partly due to how the government is basically to blame for the virus appearing and for it spreading. They have very unsanitary conditions when it comes to food production and the government actively suppresses accurate information about new diseases, making it difficult for other countries to adapt to the problems created by this unsanitariness. This virus was preventable and could even have been stopped if the Chinese government had been a more moral government. But it is rotten to the core.
That said, hating Chinese people for the problems created by their ruling elite is completely irrational.

Well that might be a natural reaction to anyone living abroad with less Asian population.
There are very little infections going around in South Korea, and I’ve never had a virus occurring in South Korea in my lifetime. So mostly, we just get hit by viruses brought from other countries, like the COVID19/ MERS.

Oh which country were they who refused? Some people I know are worrying if they can go study this year or later to the United States…because of this.
I don’t hate Asian countries or you. I live in China town in NYC, and I love the community here and how resourceful it is.
I’m praying someone comes up with a remedy for this virus. I’m so very sorry about all the aggression coming your way. Nobody deserves to be treated this way.
The main thing is the doctors/scientists sort the problem ASAP . Playing the blame game and hating people is pointless. This is the time for humanity to show its better face.
