Imagine having to hear

imagine having an eardrum injury that causes you to hear a constant ringing sound, for the rest of your life. If that was my case, people probably wouldn’t believe me. and I don’t know if I could continue living. probably worse than being deaf.

It’s called Tinnitus I have it. Caused by wear headphones to loud in my case. It’s bearable.

Oh, seriously? I have constant ringing noises, all the time, nonstop. I hardly notice them - they’re very easy for my brain to filter out. I’ve had my eardrum rupture several times.

I also have an echo of the movement of blood in my carotid artery that I often can hear, and I can’t block that out at all. That’s super frustrating, keeps me awake sometimes.
