Yeppers. In my family we have members wirth super sensitive hearing, and it is a problem. It is no good to be Human Being hearing sounds that normally only dogs hear.

Tinnitus? I have it myself so why I thought of it Do mention it to both your pdoc and your GP as soon as you can. I think the hardest part was the first few days with it for me. Hopefully it’s just temporary for you and will dissipate very soon.
I always heard that the ringing you hear in your ear, (like when you turn on the TV- that high pitched drone) , was just a tiny hole in your eardrum that was squeezing air through or something along those lines.
The part that got my attention though was Withdrawal from benzodiazepines may cause tinnitus as well.
