The illness doesn’t help. It just makes me weirder.
I gravitated to a lot of weird folk I’m still friends with decades later. I was different and developed schizophrenia…other folk had their own issues.
It really isn’t a bad thing being a little weird. If people don’t get you then it’s bad luck to them. Otherwise you’ll find kindred souls out there…they are more populous than you might think!
Normal is boring…thank god for weird people!
I am weird and from a weird family with a weird mom. I’ve had a few weird friends, but they were very interesting and usually, if I did what I was supposed to (like not drink), they were very good to me.
Careful not to judge yourself or criticize yourself too harshly, or else other people might judge you, too. Self-trust is vital in this life. If you have this, then you have other people. That’s the lesson I’m learning.
My sister said I was a weirdo once
Now I say her husband is one
I haven’t said it to her though
Same here. Regular people will never understand us sz’s.
I agree with the other posts. I’d rather be weird than faceless and boring. Just trust in your own opinions, try not to take criticism too seriously. If someone is mean to you, they’ve obviously got their own issues to deal with. It’s not your problem.
Hey ish, I think you’re fine just the way you are.
You are not weird, you are unique.
How is your love life ? Any news ?
Well said @Audrey
