I'm so tired of feeling hungover and I don't drink

I’m getting desperate :sob:.

If it wasn’t for this feeling of being hungover (which seems random) my mental state would be borderline acceptable.

I asked bing a.i. for suggestions and will try to follow them.

I’m going to start by cutting down on DECAF coffee. I drink a lot of it and there’s still some caffeine in it which I’m super sensitive to. I’ve quit actual caffeinated coffee.

But maybe this is all just clutching at straws and maybe I’m screwed.

I had never thought about non alcohol hangovers…

Do you feel dread in your world view? That’s something that occurs in normal hangovers for me…

Decaf coffee in high volumes probably is the culprit now that I think about it more.

The zyprexa gives me hangovers, but they pass as the day moves along. Are yours constant?

I told my case worker the earliest time I could start work was 10am. I got asked if I could come in 9am doing cleaning which involved using a ladder. I had to get out of that one, could easily become a accident.

I tried taking a multivitamin and it didn’t help. I’m eating enough calories (I’m calorie counting) but it’s definitely not super healthy food.

Yes, that’s true.

I think the meds can make you feel that way in the morning. I experienced it when I took invega and benztropine.

Nah your not. Try a protien drink morning and evening. It may not even be your mental health. Im no doctor - but if you getting a hangover, its usually caused by lack of fluid. At the very least, do a couple of pints of water before you goto bed.

That was something bing a.i. suggested actually, so I’ll try drinking more water.

There’s a possibility it’s the meds. That would mean there’s nothing I can do about it though. :frowning_with_open_mouth:

It could be the brain is missing something and a headache is the result.

Surely try water and all the easy to check out things first. But if the headache persists I would start looking at supplements like cdp-choline, acetylcholine, acetylserine, aminoacids, uridine, etc. AP’s deplete a lot of different brain chemicals.

That particular one didn’t work out for me, it gave me chest pain! I was so hoping it would work as it’s supposed to be good for negative symptoms.

It never really bothered me much, but I don’t work. I’d just feel like ■■■■ until I got my coffee and cigarettes. I also used to wake up with dry mouth and a terrible chemical taste.

What time of day did you take invega and benztropine ? Can you remember?

I take Abilify at 6pm. It causes me anxiety if I take it any sooner and I don’t feel so good if I take it later.

I never had a particular schedule. I’d try to maintain it every 24 hours. But my hours were so messed up it changed all the time.
