I’m glad to hear they are in school, Squirrel.
CDC said the other day they feel it’s safe to open All of them again,
with masks and social distancing, of course.

I think part of my negativity toward them is due to the fact that they are an enormous responsibility. I have always backed off.
i like kids for a bit but when i been around them for a while it’s enough for me. When corona isn’t there then my nieces and nephew come over here regularly and it’s fun for a bit but it becomes too much quickly…
I was always good with my own, one child because I loved him so much. I was never any good with other people’s kids.
My brother was adopted. I think having your own is a stronger bond.
Teenagers scare the crap outta me.
I love babies and toddlers and preschoolers, I used to work with them. But once they are between 6-10 their bodies and brains are constantly growing and they’re just so sassy and full of energy. It scares me how angry I can get at someone so little even if I don’t show it to them. Some of them are really good at pushing the wrong buttons.
And teenagers, I feel it’s either hit or miss. So many of them seem like entitled dramatic know-it-alls. I’m on a chat server where there’s a lot of teenagers, and you have no idea who many depressed 14-year olds I’ve encountered who just happen to know they’ve got the worst depression in the entire world and they’re the only person to ever exist who has 0% chance of ever feeling better, ever.
But make one passive-aggressive comment about that attitude and suddenly you’re the butthole…
I have a 4 year old with ADHD and I have a hard time dealing with her energy. Usually when she wants to play that her animals are licking my face. I have PTSD from abusive relationships and get triggered when things are in my face, so it’s makes it really hard for me. Finding a way to tell her to stop without freaking out is really hard for me. Sometimes I’m better than others.
Me too lol 151515
That’s strange @LevelJ1 and @cathart1c , because I remember going blind in the 4th grade and running into someone. So, I was a scared blind kid.
I used to smile at children and babies. I would love to have my own without the pregnancy part. They are a handful though.
