They’re having real problems with honey bee populations dwindling. Honey bees pollinate a huge portion of the food crops we grow in the United States. They don’t know why they’re dwindling, but they’re having some success in bringing them back. They say it’s a big help to buy honey. It’s expensive at the grocery store, though.

Near where I live there is a town known for its honey farms. I buy locally. A large ice cream pail only costs around $25 and last long and tastes better than store bought. I used to trap Hornets and wasps until I realized I was also trapping bees so now I don’t

Spotted this bumble grooming itself last night. It was so busy cleaning that it wasn’t bothered by me bringing my phone in close. You don’t see so many of these now, mainly the smaller honeybees these days.

I miss the bees.
They are vital to our environment

We have a lot of bumblebees. I see them daily.

Wow! That’s a great photo – so detailed. The bumble bee looks so fuzzy. What are the small yellow blobs on the leaf? Makes me think of bumble bee pooplets.

Pretty sure they are galls. Bugs cause it
