but I think I can retrieve them from sz.com Creativity section where I posted them. I haven’t saved them to a file on my computer yet. I usually do that right away, or start with writing it on a saved document, then post it to my blog, but I’m having some difficulties on this on this new laptop, so I’m writing direct on a new post on my blog. hmm. I’ll get them saved sometime this weekend.
@Daze Here are the links to your poems on the forum. You can just click on the links to get to the formatted versions of your poems that you posted.
Split-foyer
Up or down
but they stay in the middle
when there is no hurry
no walls no new normal
a high ceiling for reaching
rooms are enough for closeness
and sharing the turn-about outside
to say not on the straight and narrow
railing to see through and hold
the center cut of a drop-off
flat emotion to waiting and wanting
every deck from the kitchen
is the escape into personal growth
matched in color tired of beds
in silence or in blaring sun
home makes the changes
you live with.
Gingerbread house
The fingers can’t move in.
Just as empty as a box
under a department store tree.
The calking you fit your
broken spirit to makes
the money more tight,
saving your crumbs
in the peanut butter jar.
It won’t be big as eyes
as you’ve laid it on thick
before the stale,
but you knew what to do
with all that small stuff
you made to use up wee hours.
The trees stir and won’t burn.
Brown grass needs no clues.
You find the horizon whipped.
The chimney picked up shadows
and now they must be eaten?
