They only bugged me about 5 times today but I’m trying not to think of them. As usual when I came on this site today and was reading about schizophrenia the guy next door read my mind and picked up on it and tried to guess my diagnosis. I hide it well and I don’t ask or try to find out other peoples diagnosis’s because I figure it’s none of my business and I’ve always expected the same courtesy. Then this punk comes along and try’s to discover my diagnosis. I have told very few people over the course of 45 years, mainly friends who had it too and a couple of my sisters friends but this punk comes along and tries to stick his nose where it doesn’t belong.

I know that feeling. My neighbors can hear me talk through ceiling and use it to tell other people so they can laugh at me

I don’t believe your neighbors are trying to read your mind, but whether I’m right or you’re right doesnt matter.
If the situation escalates, who do you think any authority figures are going to believe on this? The schizophrenic who thinks all his neighbors are out to get him and trying to read his mind? Or the masses of people you might accuse?
No matter who is right here, confronting your neighbors on this is not going to improve your situation.

Actually @77nick77 Bowen’s makes a good point, one that I haven’t considered. Now that he said that, I take back what I said. Unfortunately, us Schizo’s are already a walking target to begin with (as sad as that sounds).
Better to just be quiet about it. Just sucks not being able to stand up for yourself…
