I'm laughing at everything

I don’t understand why, but I’m laughing at everything I see, hear or read. Everything seems funny to me. Does anyone else ever get random bursts of giggles?

Yeah, when I was in a phase of psychosis, I laughed frequently and at everything. Everything was funny to me. So I’m worried for you. This may not be a good sign.

That would make sense. Seeing as I just heard one of my voices say, “I’m back”.

I hope you’re ok @Cici2.

Call your pdoc.

I should be ok if I take a saphris. I hope it can get me to sleep. I wondered why I’ve stayed up this late.

That was a close one. I finally got to sleep. I’m glad I didn’t have a psychotic break.

Emotional perplexity is a natural part of schizophrenia and other illnesses. I too laugh or cry about uncommon things to be emotional about. Like feeling sorry for a shoe or laughing about creating a billion miles of care bears between the voices I hear and me. Telling them to have a happy forever or laughing at birds and stuff. You’re not alone.

You are very manic right now. I would call my pdoc if I were you.

I’ve had a random burst of laughing and giggling that lasted for several days. And I got no sleep either during that time period. I was told that I was manic. I had quit taking my Olanzapine on my own without consulting my pdoc and that’s what happened to me. An ER pdoc put me on oral Risperdal and all the uncontrollable laughter and sleeplessness ended.
