I'm hopping on the vegan train

It’s good- I’ve lost weight.

Most of the restaurants I’ve been to have tofu and other vegan options, which is cool

What are your goals being a vegan. I could do it with dairy and eggs. Your really not helping the treatment of farm animals. You have to convert 90 percent of the world to get rid of factory farming. Not having kids helps. If they become meat eaters it defeats the purpose of you being a vegan. I respect peta but there fighting a losing battle. Life sucks, no one’s going to give up meat. I bet only 2 percent of Americans are vegetarian. I hope in the far future they can make soy burgers taste like hamburgers.

Obviously you are helping animals. One horror(or in this case thousands, because that’s how many animals a person eats a lifetime) prevented is still one horror prevented, despite how many others are occurring. It’s still a good thing. It’s not going to happen all at once, 90 percent of people are not going to go one day I’m eating meat and now I agree to be vegan for life, it’s going to be very gradual if it’s ever going to happen. Maybe you have too black and white thinking because of your sz.

Obviously people have given up meat, so that’s false. There was a best burger competition and a vegan burger won. If more people bought soy burgers, the demand would go up, the quality would get better and the prices lower. If u get good quality meat replacements, people have told me they barely could tell the difference between them and meat.

I apologize if I offended anyone. I hope one day farm animals can be pets. Soy burgers are not bad. But I need cheese on it. Are dairy cows treated badly?

I was a ethical vegan for eight months .

My mum is still a ethical vegan except for when it comes to mascara.
That her favourite brand may not be vegan she does not care about.

I am not a vegan anymore.

I do care but I believe as I believe.

I do pray for animals, people, climate, environment, nature etc but I am not so religious nor a member of any religion but believe as I do

I eat mainly plant based
i had a bit of cheese yesterday but i don’t even like it any more
it’s a recent thing for me too - going back to it
don’t think i will ever go 100% vegan because of leather and fish maybe once a month i’m planning on

it’s the healthiest diet in the world

I have a really blunt style of responding, IDK even why that is, can come across sometimes as assholish and seem like I was angry, I guess. I was not offended.

Dairy cows are treated very badly, yes.

My mom is a vegan and has no regrets. She doesn’t really like meat or dairy products anyhow. She did it mainly for health reasons (she has ulcerative colitis and animal products can flare it up) but is also happy about the benefits to animals and the environment that comes with being vegan.

I could probably become vegetarian easily because I don’t really like meat that much but I don’t think I could ever become fully vegan like her.
