Im having shortness of breath for a couple of days now

I dont know why?

I started vortioxetine 7 weeks ago but i dont think its that

I cant sleep now because of this

How severe is your shortness of breath? If it’s bad enough to the point you can’t sleep you need to go to the hospital. Are you having any other symptoms?

A few heart palpitations but nothing bad

The breathlessness is just annoying and laying down in bed its worse

Don’t be afraid to ask for tests

Years ago my first full on panic attack felt like a heart problem and they even tested troponin

Smoking tobacco i think is the culprit @Joker i’m smoking again

I feel like such an idiot, i want to quit for good this time. Im cutting down to a handful a day for emergencys, then i’ll go use ecig or nicorrette again

Oh i don’t know what is causing it? Unlikely to be smokes to think of it

Will go to doctors or hospital soon if it gets worse

@Ducky when I used to smoke, it made me short of breath. It actually could be the smoking. I’d make an appointment with your primary dr for a checkup though

I have those from anxiety and panic attacks, yeap…

Too much cigarettes make it a bit worse in fact, the coffee too…

Ok, hoping that it’'ll ease for you, i was like that today in fact too…

The breathless is still slightly there although laying off the cigs and gentle exercise has helped a bit. I feel anxious about it though which probably makes it worse.

Ive a pulse meter, finger thingie coming today so i’ll see what level oxygen is at

Thanks for your support!
