I’m going to the beach, but I’m going with my Dad. I get mad when I go to the beach with my parents, because I get sick of hanging out with my parents. I’d rather go to the beach with a friend. I also don’t have enough to do at the beach. There is not a lot of roads at the beach.

Seems like a bummer now but one day you will miss simple activities with parents! There’s tons to do at the beach if you try to have a good time…chill in the water, bodyboard, surf, frisbee, skimboard, play paddle board, volleyball or just hang out and enjoy a lunch. Any day at the beach beats being stuck indoors! Hope you have a great time

Thanks for the positive post. But I don’t want to go on the beach with my dad. We have a pool in the complex at my beach condo, so I hang out there sometimes. Also my social phobia acts up when there is a lot of people at the beach. I enjoy laying on our swing on the deck at my beach condo. It’s right on the ocean.
Do you go to the beach also?

I’m 48 and lived a decent life but still hang out with my parents. Just the way it is sharing the costs of 3 pensions.
Beach is a great thing. Nothing like salt water to have a dip. I suspect your pretty young! It seems a young ones concern!
Nothing wrong with being young! Learn to enjoy these minor things!

That sounds nice, just relaxing! Ya Im lucky to be 15 minutes from the beach here. I don’t do all those activities when I go but I do go out on a boogie board and it’s super peaceful, I can think and just enjoy the water. Good energy and vibes from the ocean and sand, I always feel more energized and calm when I get back from the beach!

Yeah, I’m 39…guess you are saying when you get older you don’t mind hanging out with your parents. What are your parents like, do they support you and help you. I sounds like you have good parents based on past posts.

@Jake yeah they’re good people and it’s never the best but I’ve learned to deal with it. Honestly it’s not a bad cop…I still live as large as I can.

Yes I have worked in the past, but I couldn’t handle it. Yes I lived in couple of apartments. One with a roommate and one without a roommate. I’ve also lived in a town house with a couple of roommates.

All’s I say is enjoy it if you can! It’s not the greatest thing but be practical. If someone is taking me to the beach I’ll have some fun somehow! Just enjoy the experience and do something positive!
Walks along a beach are a pretty good bit of exercise in the least!

I went to the beach yesterday. I love being in water, so I enjoyed the opportunity to cool down.
