I’m buying a 2021 Chevy Equinox that i saw on FB Marketplace! As long as it passes the mechanical inspection on Thursday, anyways. I’ve been wanting something with AWD for a few years now and have been saving religiously every penny i can. He wanted $13500 but offered $11500 when i told him I’d have to pay to get it winterized and an autostart put in. It also needs new tires but I’m going to apply for a grant for those from the Mental Health Trust. I just hope i can find someone to buy my car from me. I’m so frigging excited that I’m wiggling in my seat! I only have $13400 saved up so that should cover everything, especially if i sell my car!

That’s great. It’s always great to get a new car. I don’t want to bring you down but can you afford registering it, gas and insurance plus still pay your regular bills?
Yes, i already pay these things for my current car, and the registration and title fees will only be $115. I pay for my insurance 6 months in advance by automatically moving money each month from my checking to my savings account, so every 6 months i pay for it. The gas will probably be a little more than my car but i don’t drive too far so it shouldn’t be ridiculously more.
