Well, i bought a new car today! It’s a 2022 Jeep Compass Latitude Lux. I paid $13,500 for it. Better yet, i also sold my old car today, too. It’s hard to get used to the technology in the new car…there’s a huge difference between a 2022 car and my old 2012 car! It has a back-up camera and heated seats, steering wheel, and mirrors, which will be good in Alaska. It also has 4 wheel drive, something my car lacked. I’m so excited and relieved at the same time. I hope it serves me as well as my old car did!

Congratulations! The safety features in newer cars are definitely worth it. You are right that these features do take a little getting used to.
Nice ride. Tech is so much better and getting a car within 5 years is good in the game! Make sure you keep up the basic servicing with oil and filters and wish you all the best with your new car!

No, I’m not employed. But I’ve been saving every penny for 4 years, no eating out, no movies, using the food bank. It took a lot of discipline to save up the money for it.

Congratulations! @WhiteRaven that’s awesome wish I could get a newer car but I’m poor lol mine gets me from point a to point b but is in desperate need of a paint job but can’t afford it so it’s not pretty like it should be but hey its dependable again congrats.

Heated seats? Thats crazy haha. I didnt even know cars had that. The most recent model car i ever had was made in 2004.
But here in Australia its pretty much always hot as hell. So it makes sense why i haven’t realised heated seats are a thing.
