I’ve read alot of sz have come off the medication after 10 years of use with no recurring psychosis(30 percent) Is the internet wrong in its math, if no then why haven’t more of the senior members on this forum come off at the 10 year mark?
I’ve been on meds for 17 years. I started reducing my dose about 4 years ago because of side effects and became psychotic and was hospitalized in 2018. Then I switched to different med. I’ll be on meds for life. I’ve only heard very few stories about people that quit their meds and didn’t relapse. Those are lucky people.
