Ignoring the voices

i have so much trouble ignoring it all. the voices etc i mean. either they get me to take a guilt trip or else it causes paranoia and often the ‘voices’ hurt my feelings so much i have to stop what i am doing and meditate to stop the pain…

Yeh. I’ve lived with the experience of hearing voices for 32 years now, and I can not ignore them at all. I continually talk to them, mostly to establish a more credible foundation of truth, because they are so covert, they can’t help but be compulsive liars. In addition to that fact, regardless of who or what they are, namely spontaneous neurological events and transitory signals, I have chosen to treat them delusionally, and as a consequence I have diagnosed most of them individually as Narcissists, APD, and if there is such a thing, sadists. It gets quite funny in the end, because they are so lacking in virtue, that they can’t mobilize enough education-based knowledge, to dispatch my diagnoses and deflate me with something philosophical.

If you like meditation, I found mindfulness training helpful in learning to let the voices come and go without following them into fantasy land, or joining the Insult Festival.
