I know I’d ask my uncle what’s in his secret safety deposit box.
He was a very wealthy and unusual man,
It’s got to be something crazy.
He’s been dead a long time and is daughter is still afraid to open it.

I’d ask my great grandfather on my father’s side something about our lineage. Legend has it we are descendants of a late medieval prince who was taken prisoner by the Turks; they asked him and his male offspring to become muslim and, given their refusal, brutally murdered them. But the female offspring were spared.
If I was a good son growing up… Probably, she would say that I was the best son possible. But I wasn´t.
I guess asking about your lineage is a smart way to go.
I’m just not super interested in that kind of stuff.
But,
We’re not supposed to be royalty or anything.
That story would spark my interest too.
I’d ask my grandfather was it my behavior part of reason of his suicide (we had an situation day before)…
Me to my mother:
“You’re staying dead, right? No reincarnation?”
I would ask a dead relative why they didn’t share the floating door with Leonardo Dicrapio.
They both totally could have fit.
I would ask my mother’s father, my grandfather…" how could you??!"
Yup!
Rose: I’ll never let go. I’ll never let go!
Jack: You are going to make tons of babies.
Rose: Fück! Wanna trade?
Id ask when the curse started and how to fix it
That’s a tough question to be grappling with @anon25523312 . Please remember, when someone decides to take their own life, there was probably a lot of thought put into it, and suffering leading up to it.
Your disagreement with your grandfather was purely coincidental, I’m certain of it
I would ask my Aunt Jonie, who was killed by a drunk driver when she was 19, how she feels that my grandma (her mother) became an alcoholic late in life and if that disappointed her or made her angry.
Ha, for years my dad worked with this woman who was really sexy when she was young. They were really good friends for almost twenty years and everybody who knew them including my mom and my step mom wondered if they slept together. My dad even brought it up right before he died and he always swore that they didn’t and always laughed when people brought it up. I’m just curious but he took the answer to the grave and I know he wouldn’t tell me whether he was alive or dead.
My grandmother had schizophrenia too. We never visited her often and she lived in a nursing home. I’d like to ask her about it and gotten to know her better.
Id like to ask my fathers father, my granddad
Was he given the choice between extreme wealth or a cult dream on his death bed, and chose the dream?
Result: being poor (his brother was loaded to the hilt visited him in a helicopter)
I believe mental illness runs in that line of the family too, money would have helped
I would want to ask my Mother if she’s disappointed in me. She was always hard on me growing up, and only seemed to approve of me for the first time when I chose to go back to college. Even then, she tried to convince me that college was a mistake, that I couldn’t handle it. She was an extremely critical Mother. Crippling at times
On the other hand, I have huge respect for her. She raised six of us on her own, working a part-time job. And she always held her head high. So of course I respect her opinion, and somehow I don’t feel like I live up to her expectations.
Aww sounds like she was overprotective
@anon67450902 yes, I have no doubt of that. I was resentful towards that, because it stopped me from enjoying some of the things that other kids freely got to enjoy. We were always butting heads, and I was a highly rebellious teenager.
It’s the hypercritical component that did the damage. I don’t hold it against her anymore, we made our peace, but I know it still affects me to this day in ways
Anyway, before I wander too far off topic, I would just like to know if she approves of me at this point. Mental health issues have done a number on me for the last 20 years
I would just like to have gotten to know my great grandparents amd their parents on my mothers side. Its all very interesting history there. Like escaping from the newly formed communist regime because they were against the bolsheviks during the revolution. And also id like to get some old school wisdom from them. Ive got photos dating back to the begginng of the 20th century. They all look so cool with their suits and their glum expressions.
