I mean the buzzing noises and burning smells would be really noticeable. Not like a random weird noise lasting like 1 second.
I have fire alarms throughout the flat

in the unlikely event of that happening the smoke alarms would go off instantly as long as they still work, you should have a co2 alarm as well, i just had mine checked, its ok, you just press the button on it and it makes a noise which means its working

Definitely would take notice. Sounds like you got alarms up and all, so should be good. Rest easy.
