While Mr Thoughtless is controlling my body and hands and facial expressions etc. am I guilty according to the law?

You’re still legally accountable. You’ll be locked up, either in regular prison or in a mental health facility for criminals. People on here who have experienced both tend to say prison is preferable, because you just serve your time and leave. If you are put in a mental health facility, you’re surrounded with others who have no control over their violent impulses and you can’t leave until you prove you’re sane and have control.

In Greece a schizophrenic who had killed a person stayed in hospital for a few years and then he was released and he committed another murder. That increased stigma
I’d die of a heart attack or stroke before doing anything violent.

a lot of people think psychiatric prisons are somehow therapeutic…but in truth their admission ward is just like a prison (I heard this)
and as ninjastar said it takes a long time to get discharged as you have to prove yourself trustworthy and that takes a long time
