To provide a good home for my cat
Don Juan loves you very nuch🤗
I love him back he’s such a good boy
Looking after animals is so important. They need people to do what you’re doing. If I didn’t work or live in a flat with no garden I would have dogs.
Did you train him, or did he train you😉
Sorry @Joker. You’d be a good owner since you know an animals value
Yeah I gotta remind myself when I get down that I’m not worthless as I am able to foster the welfare for another living thing.
I was thinking of getting a rescue house cat, but it would be unfair to leave it alone I think for 9+ hours a day
Its a good relationship to have with a pet. I miss the dog I grew up with, she was brilliant and we were lucky to have her.
My fur babies are my children. Yup, I admit it. I’m delusional that they are my kids
Don Juan looks so big now
How old is he now?
He’s a little more than 18 months now.
Very cool! Animals truly are a blessing!
They can help us through hard times, and give our lives a deeper sense of purpose.
I know my gato has given me a deep sense of purpose.
Also, meeting my newly born nephew gave me more good reasons to keep living.
Congrats on your nephew. I would also feel fulfilled with a nephew/niece. But my sister doesn’t seem to want children yet.
Thank you!
Holding a baby truly is one of the blessings of life.
I’m sure one day you’ll get an awesome little nephew or niece @Jonnybegood.
Give it time, my friend.
when my son was still here
my dog was such a good helper
she really could be a therapy dog
I had a cat once and i miss that. Maybe i will get another one some day. Don Juan looks very well taken care of. You’re lucky to have each other!
Only one of my “purposes” is to care for my cat, Simba. The others are to love and serve G-d and my neighbor, to be a loving spouse to my wife, to be a loving sister to my siblings, and to be a loving aunt to my nieces and nephews.
Cats are great. When I used to fear break ins he was my reality check. I knew he’d freak and hide if anyone was trying to get in. So he was a calming presence.
