I write better with less AP, darn it

What I’ve read here before in other threads by creative people is true: at a higher dose, our meds can mire down creativity. I will discuss this problem with my new prescriber. Hopefully she will listen and be accommodating. My ability to write is very important to me. I remember being a lot more poetic last winter and spring. Other poetry writers and I would begin threads where anybody could “drop a poem.” I miss that nowadays.

BTW, has anyone seen @ArchStanton? What’s the man up to? He seems to pop in here and there. I hope he’s OK!

Hey Borath! Freaky how I was thinking about all y’all today and then your topic showed up in my gmail inbox. Hope everyone’s doing well. I agree about AP’s and the loss of creativity. I almost have to be a bit manic to write something. You really are a talented writer and it’s sad you feel like you’re in a slump. I’ve written a few things, but my creative efforts have been a bit more physical lately. I’ll post some of my latest stuff in the creativity section. I really do miss interacting with all of you. I’ve been pretty busy. I still have a lot of stuff on the to do list but I’ll try not to be such a stranger.

Cool, man! Good to hear from you, and looking forward to reading your latest. Yes, my poetry writing’s in rather a slump, or feels like it, anyway. We need to rekindle the collective poetry threads we used to do before summer came. Those were a blast, I thought. That’s cool if you’ll visit us more frequently. Hope you do. See you around, dude.
