I wonder if L-theanine is responsible for me feeling hungover in the mornings

@mermaid1 said she gets a hangover after taking L-theanine. I wonder is that what’s happening to me too.

I’m not going to stop taking it though as I need it to tolerate abilify.

Anybody else feel hungover in the mornings after taking L-theanine the day before?

yeah but you know it is a lot better than experiencing the anxiety.
When I wake up, I feel so tired and just uncomfortable. My trick has been to stay in bed for another 30-40 minutes after waking up. But I am taking it every morning 300 mg upon getting out of bed and then afternoon at 4 200 mg.

I am sleeping every night since starting L Theanine. My insomnia has gone (for the past 8 days).
Plus it has an immediate good effect on me. My anxiety is reduced at least 70% Especially the OCD!

One can’t ignore the possibiity that the ap is dragging you down. It is a powerful and strong drug after all. No wonder loads of us give it up or try to reduce them.

I still haven’t tried l-theanine, but if it makes you relax perhaps I’ll have it as a treat soon.
