doubt i could. even if i went to the ER theyd just tell me to take aAPs or possibly even try to lock me up … cant risk that

i saw on TV that benzos are basically alcohol in a pill

But they are really difficult to get rid off.

I had to taper them for 6 months before I could quit.

I would only take them for panic attacks but not on a daily basis.

I never had a withdrawal from benzo. But I was taking a low dose Klonopin.

ive taken klonopin, ativan, and xanax through my teens and eartly 20s. in my 20s was on maximum dose xanax and i never had a problem quitting them. i just with i could get some. alchol messes with my stomach and i dont like the taste

Yeah, I used them a long time, and it was horrid to withdraw. And the damage never really went away. Be careful with them. I think for those not addicted a glass of wine is less dangerous than a benzo.

I used to have a physical dependence on Ativan. Withdrawals were living hell.

I still take it but not everyday like I did in the past

Same here. Wish they would prescribe me some. And i also wish they would prescribe me stimulant adhd meds instead of atomoxetine. Id much prefer stimulants rather than benzos though. My social anxiety is my biggest issue im facing mentally. And they completely get rid of it every time ive had them.

They just become another form of addiction. There are less addictive ways to counteract anxiety.

I want Adderall but my dr won’t prescribe it, he said it will make me psychotic. I am on Wellbutrin it does nothing

i took concerta, ritalin, and adderall before. i think they did make me worse. thenone i was on last was adderall. the dr told me never to take it again and think of it as poison.

maybe. hard to tell. that was like 15 years ago. i didnt have bad negs back then and was already pretty hyperactive. the negs really started around after i quit aps and its been decline ever since.
