I will be the first

I really believe I don’t have schizophrenia or other psychotic disorder so I stop taking my meds from today, I will continue and see what happens next.

Please keep taking your meds.

I feel great! I haven’t taken a single pill today and still feel fine

It takes a few weeks for the medication to leave your system. Then when you decide to go back on them it takes a few weeks for them to work again.

You really don’t know what you’re doing. Stay on the meds.

You may not feel it right away. But you only feel great because it takes time for the old ways to find themselves again. Please take your meds.

I have voluntarily gone off meds several times. It’s part of the illness. We don’t think we should get medicine for a imaginary illness

It’s an interesting paradox. None of us believe we are sick and need meds. However, we must take our meds to remain from being sick.

I don’t really believe I have a mental illness either. The one thing I do know is that when I am on meds I have less of a problem than when I’m off them.

I have skipped a dose or two of my med’s before, because for a short while I feel really good when I do that. Then I get in trouble. There has been a couple of times when I was lucky I didn’t get my ass seriously whipped for some of the things I was doing and saying when I was off my med’s.
