My ex and my son and I went to our good friends house for a BBQ. We had different flavors of chicken sausages and turkey burgers. We sat outside and joked around and enjoyed probably one of the last warm nights of the year. It started to get a little chilly as it got closer to dark so we all moved inside. My ex and I played with their 1 yr old baby which gave mom a little break to spend time off on her own and the dad and my son played a video game. The dog was in trouble for licking everyone as usual lol. It was a fun time but I’m happy to be home sweet home.

I went to a barbecue about 3 weeks ago. The temp dropped like crazy while we were outside and we were all freezing even with the bonfire. It was at an old friends house. My husband came along which was nice. But it was too cold!

I think it’s going to be a long, socially-distanced winter. Glad you were able to sneak in a visit. I do wonder about the point of social distancing in visits when there is a pet making the rounds of everyone and licking them.
