I went to Walmart by myself. It didnt go so well. I got maybe half of the items on the list before I gave up. J kept staring off into space and had an employee ask to help but I couldnt use my words so I shook my head no and she walked away and said something sarcastically. It was just too muxh

Well done for trying! At least you got out and did something constructive. I have problems shopping in the local Iceland here - cos i think they are watching me incase im shoplifting. So i gave up and usually do the bulk of my shopping ordered online. I have a corner shop 600 yards from my door - so i go down there for perishables such as milk and eggs. Its the crowds and the jostling i cant stand - and the “tutting” by other customers cos im not packing fast enough

You made the effort to try to do something really hard for you. That’s really good. This was actually a success. If you keep trying eventually it may be old hat to you.

After that lady I was worried they thought I was shop lifting too. Just kept reminding myself that I wasnt stealing so I had nothing to really worry about.

Supermarkets are weird places anyway. Lots of people hate them. You did well to go in the first place. I hate supermarkets and order my groceries online and get them delivered. I’m lucky that I can do that I guess.

Oh I love it because it’s the cheapest around here aside from save a lot. We don’t have many grocery store options. They were on strike almost two weeks before finding a solution.

Shop rite is pretty inexpensive and popular around here.

Oh yeah we have shoprite. I’d say that some items are more expensive than stop and shop. And some are less. So if you go to both and know which to buy where, that is the most efficient way of shopping groceries around here. but no way will I go to both!!
