With a flat tire waiting for AAA to help.
In my younger days I could change a flat in under an hour. But now I wait while I had to endure whispers that I do something drastic. But I survived to tell this tale.
Hope you do too.
Ugh that sucks. I was traveling cross country once and got stuck with traffic stopped and backed up on the highway must have been 3 or 4 hours and i had already been on the road driving for 10 hours that day. It did not help that i was psychotic and voices almost convinced me it was because world war three had started
But you survived! Congradutations.
Damn Kat! I had a flat on the highway yesterday…same bloody problem. Luckily I was near an inspection station so I used their slipway to get the autoclub! Only waited 45 minutes but If I had some friggin tools it would have been a 15 minute job!
Keep the stress down! And glad you survived! Bloody cars!
Glad you’re back and safe at home. Like a lot of people, I have a love/hate relationship with cars. They get us in the damnedest situation.
And after being told I had to get a new tire. I got a plug for only $28 from AAA car center so we’re even for now.
damn!!! I drove like a couple hundred metres on the rim so the walls of the tyre are absolutely toast. I’m out of pocket $135 for a new one!!!
Your up one…I’m down a $100 hahah…good result for you Kat!
O yea did that once when I was young I kept driving to get to school on time. After that I learned to pull over quick when something is strange if possible. The tire was toast. It was a big blowout. Later I learned the tires were recalled for defects.
I’ve also learned not to wait and repair star crack it spreads and ruins your whole windshield.
And if your brakes are squeaking get them checked or you ruin the rotor. Pads are cheaper.
And if a tooth hurts get it checked or it may get worse and you lose the whole tooth.
Lessons learned in a life…
