I was a Hard Case

Getting to accept the psychiatric meds for myself was long, painful, expensive journey. Now I know something about me and meds, at last.

Now you totally accept medication for your illness already?

Jayster, So how long have you been ill, to eventually accept it all?

I’m a hard case for a different reason. I accepted meds but meds don’t always work on me.

I think that if you really want to learn to recover and cope after you get stable you should switch to a potent dose as a PRN.

Zyprexa tabs have been good for me. I had a relapse last night and took one in hopes of it putting me to sleep. Slept for 14 hours and now I’m back on track.

Don’t plan on taking it again until ■■■■ gets real.

It’s been about 40 days since I took meds regularly.

You have to have a lot of insight to know when it times to take a PRN.

LOL. Folks I’m not claiming any 100 %. I’m just claiming enough to put in great effort to get together a working treatment team and access them!

Of course, when I was young I heard anecdotal evidence that schizphrenics frequently do better after 50 yars of age, Now I’m well past 50 and doing better every day.
